It was nice to be able to send this video to patients that are newly started on Ozempic. Some don't want to come back into the office for teaching, so we can email it to them to learn on their own.
The patient liked how each step was described, with specific details, from how long the pen needed to be warmed, how long it could be stored in a refrigerator and after it was opened. Demonstrating how to apply and remove the needle was useful. Priming the pen and specifying only for the first time. Instructions for the Actual injection part were different from how I had been educated in the past, So I learned something new.
