MCT2D delivered a presentation on Coverage Checker at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Forum, an annual conference held in Orlando, Florida, last month.

Noa Kim, MSI, MCT2D Informatics Design Lead, and Larrea Young, MDes, MCT2D Design Project Manager presented "Coverage Checker: Applying Human-centered Design to Develop a Tool for Insurance Coverage Navigation" detailing the development of MCT2D's suite of insurance coverage, prior authorization, and patient affordability tools.

Additionally, the MCT2D team developed a poster presentation, "Coverage Quest: A fantasy exercise to map coverage barriers and opportunities for improvement in type 2 diabetes care." The poster detailed the methodology and key findings from Coverage Quest, a fantasy quality improvement "game" deployed at the Spring 2023 MCT2D regional meetings. Coverage Quest was featured in a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) Value Partnerships Update.
