Available Now: Four-Part MCT2D CME Lectures

Incoming primary care clinical champions new to MCT2D must complete this four-part learning series. CME is provided by Corewell Beaumont. New primary care clinical champions must complete the modules by December 13, 2024.
MCT2D has released a four-part series of brief CME-earning lectures. First launched in 2022, these completed revised 2024 courses include:
  • Low- and Very Low Carb-Carb Diet, led by MCT2D dietitian Rina Hisamatsu, RDN, MPH and MCT2D obesity medicine content expert Dina Hafez Griauzde, MD, MSc.
  • From Finger Pricks to Real-Time Insights: Continuous Glucose Monitoring in Type 2 Diabetes, led by MCT2D endocrinology and diabetes technology content expert Kara Mizokami-Stout, MD, MSc.
  • Medication Selection in Type 2 Diabetes with Benefits Beyond Glucose Lowering, led by MCT2D Co-Program Director, Heidi Diez, PharmD.
  • Tying it All Together, led by MCT2D Program Director, Lauren Oshman, MD, MPH.
Clinicians and staff participating in MCT2D are welcome to register and complete the courses, which are free and available online. Additionally, completing a module and submitting proof of CME evaluation will count towards the primary care physician-level learning community requirement.
